About Project

Vayeghan Consulting was hired to provide initial assessment for a remote community with unreliable grid connectivity and limited access to electricity assess a hybrid microgrid solution. The goal was to provide a reliable and sustainable energy source to meet the community's basic needs, enhance resilience, and reduce reliance on intermittent grid power.

SERVICES DELIVERED INCLUDED:

  • Conducted an on-site assessment to understand the community's energy needs, existing infrastructure, and power consumption patterns.

  • Analyzed available renewable resources, including solar and wind potential, to determine the feasibility of a hybrid microgrid

  • Selected appropriate hybrid microgrid components, including solar panels, wind turbines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and a backup diesel generator

  • Engaged with the local community to ensure their input was considered in the project design and to educate them about the benefits of the hybrid microgrid.
